Active Warrant Search in Multnomah County

Multnomah County arrest warrants are court orders that command law enforcement agencies to take a defendant into custody. How to Find Arrest Records for Free in Multnomah County

Government agencies maintain free search platforms for arrest records generated in Multnomah County. For example, the county sheriff’s office maintains a booking search platform that reveals information on recently booked and released arrestees. The Oregon Department of Corrections also offers information on arrest records via the Offender Search platform. The platform reveals details of inmates serving time in the state prisons. At the federal level, the Federal Bureau of Prisons’s Inmate Locator allows online searches for inmates held in federal prisons. 

Note that free online search tools may not include information on older arrest events and confidential information. Such information is usually accessible through the arresting agency. Record seekers must present a valid ID along with document identifiers to retrieve such records.

How to Get an Arrest Record Expunged in Multnomah County

In Multnomah, interested parties may expunge their arrest records by fulfilling the legal requirements and submitting a fingerprint card to the district attorney’s office. Note that the legal requirement depends on the outcome of the arrest charges and type of offense. Concerned parties are generally eligible to expunge dismissed arrest charges under these conditions:

  • The charge was for a class B or C felony, or a class A, B, or C misdemeanor.
  • There is no pending criminal case.
  • The waiting period for expungement has elapsed.

The district attorney’s office is legally required to respond to the request within 120 days of receiving it. If the request is not granted, concerned parties may request a court hearing.

How Do You Remove Multnomah County Arrest Records From the Internet?
